What Happened to Etsy's Pay It Forward?

Just for the fun of it I put in a search for Pay It Forward on Etsy the other day. PIF was always one of the fun places for me to hang out on Etsy. I've picked up some of the best bargains there.
Have you been there lately? I don't know what's happened, but I found prices ranging from $.20 to over $500.00, and that was doing a quick run-through. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Evidently my understanding of PIF was wrong. However, I decided to put in a pricing search and found there are a few other Etsy sellers who agree with me. Shipping charges have gone up, but the basic $.20 price (listing fee) is still to be found. Here are a few that I think warrant notice:

PAY IT FORWARD Boo Boo Bunny - Pick Any One

PIF Black and White Swirls Notebook Set of 4

Sparkly Crystal Glass Earrings

Mohair Sweater Patterns - 4 Designs

PIF sunset colors mini paper pack 4x6 orange blue desert tones for cards scrapbooking

Datura Metel. PIF (Pay it Forward) Organic dark purple double layer frilly . 15 seeds. Includes waterproof seed marker.

Montana Blue Earrings PIF

10 White Organza drawstring bags Pay it forward PIF

PIF - Two Random Stretch Bracelets

If you haven't been to the PIF (Pay It Forward) section lately, give it a try. It's a great way to pick up small gifts, party favors, and stocking stuffers throughout the year.

I think I'll go back and buy a pair of earrings.  I love getting packages in the mail, and if they are only $.20 plus shipping, it feels almost like my birthday. :0)

A PIF find is a mini-present to treat yourself and to spread the chain of kindness to those around us. And its calorie free to boot!

Thanks for giving a hoot!

PIF's are great fun, so many changes on Etsy now, a lot of what made it a wonderful community
seems to be disappearing, sad I think...hope the PIF's continue!

I never remember about PIF and I'm not sure I understand what it's all about?

Sounds like a dang good reason to shop though. :)
