Let's Make Whoopie

Pies!

On my weekend antique shopping sprees, my breakfast every Friday is a whoopie pie and coffee at the Green Dragon Market!   Skip the free breakfast at the hotel, this is much better!
These are the traditional ones shown above and the only ones I eat!  However, you can find all kinds.  (Click on photos below to be taken directly to shop)

And now, here is some history about whoopie pies and some recipes!

Have fun!

Okay the Butternut Spice whoopie pie makes me want one! I'm such a pushover for sweets...LOL

I have to admit though, I never thought of having one for breakfast. Only you would think of that RWS! :0)

I about fell off the chair when I saw the title, thinking it was dude!

I could eat these for all 3 meals and be quite happy.

Do you mean I shouldn't be eating these for breakfast? I thought it was a great breakfast food and snack food and lunch food . . .

I remember buying an extra one to send to my friend in California. By the second day, I ate it. It was looking gunkie, really it was.

LOLOL!
I hesitated for a second too, thinking it was Dude!
I had picked up some kit/mixes to send to you guys.....and thought I would try one...
Well,
I opened the box and took out the ingredients and there were no directions!
So then I thought I just got a funky box....looked in another, nope no directions...
It's not like you have to add a lot to them but still it would be nice to know the measurements.
Needless to say I didn't think I should send you guys directionless whoopie pie mixes......
