A couple of weeks ago my husband made an emergency trip to
Italy
to be with his mom.
She lives in the states most of the time but still has a
house and a piece of property over in Italy.
Anyway, she was having some health problems and my husband was able to go and
be with her. As it turns out things are ok with her and she decided to come
home with him… (yay!)

So now they are home safe and sound.
I did a search for coming home and these are some items
that came up, both vintage and handmade. It was fun to see some different interpretations
for “coming home”. There were a lot of things for bringing newborns home, and
as sweet as they are I was looking for something a little different.

They say home is where the heart is, or home is where you
hang your hat,

or as a friend posted, home is whenever I’m with you.
You can feel at home when you see warm glowing lights.

I think one of the sweetest “coming home” is when a
soldier has returned from a deployment.

Just remember as Dorothy
says “there’s no place like home”
