The Beauty of Hand Blown Glass

I have always had a fascination with blown glass.  When I was much younger and my family would go to Knott’s Berry Farm, I would always go the glass blower shop and HOPE they were working.  And no matter what, I would find a way to get some money out of my parents to buy something small, just to add to my collection.

Well, my collection is long gone but I still have a fascination.  I had even done  some research into trying my hand at it.  Though I love it, not sure I’m ready to venture down that avenue . . .  YET!!!

For now, I will settle to admire other people’s work.  Hope you enjoy these beauties as much as I do.

There are so many cool pieces, styles, colors, and the possibilities are endless.  Like I said, I’m not sure I’m ready to venture into this, but I sure would love to try it some day.

Thanks and happy Friday.

I love handblown glass too Duuuude! I think you should try it.

I remember watching people make the little glass figures at the fairs and events when I was younger. I was always fascinated by it.

I love looking at it, but I'm always afraid to touch it for fear I'll break it!
It was cool to see the men in Ireland making the Waterford pieces ~ amazing talent.
Did I spell Waterford right?
