HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

I have a confession to make. I follow all the standard traditions for other holidays but have my own special traditions for New Year's.

I snack, watch the Rose Bowl Parade, read, nap, and just vegitate all day. That's it, nothing, nada, zip, zero, no phone calls, no company, no shopping trip.................zippo!

It may not sound like much to most people, but it's one of my favorite days of the year and I faithfully observe all of these traditions. Because they are traditions and they are all mine! LOL

I wish you all a wonder New Year's Day and terrific New Year.

Sounds like a good tradition to me.
My parents used to take us over to a friends house and we would go outside and bang pots at midnight...lol!
Since we had kids ourselves we pretty much stayed home, now the girls go out more than we do. (on the condition that they stay where they are going, don't want them driving on New Years Eve.)

I LOVE your traditions Pepper, and they sound much like mine - but mine start the night before so I'm all geared up! Don't like to be on the roads New Years Eve, too many crazy drivers around here. haha

Maybe I'll had nap to mine - I don't think I nap. : )

That sounds fabulous! I always shove as much yumminess in my mouth as possible on New Year's Eve since I generally have a resolution that prohibits that for a while ;).
