Baking and cooking Peggy style

We all have our own talents and hobbies.
Mine does NOT include cooking or baking! Well, I do love sweets so I do bake, but this is my idea of baking and I'm okay with that.

First go to the grocery store in the refrigerator section where the butter and yogurt usually are.  This time of year they are almost always on sale so stock up. They look like this....
I have no shame.
The time consuming part is if you want gingerbread men or sugar cookies shaped like something, you have to actually roll the dough out.  That reminds me I forgot to get a rolling pin for this year ~ I used mine to roll clay at work a few years back and never replaced it.

Enough about baking.
For cooking all you need is this...

and a crock pot. Actually, I like to use the "Golden Cream of Mushroom soup", but didn't have a can of it handy.  Put this in the crock pot with chicken, pork, vegetables etc. and when you get home...Waalaa!

Making life a little easier. :)

Oh Boy! Someone who cooks and bakes like me! I have a rule, no more than 6 ingredients! LOL! And I don't own a crock pot, that tells you something!

Cute post!
I love to cook and even I have days where this method of efficient "chef-ery" suits me just fine!! ;-)

You don't have a crock pot? Suddenly I feel like Betty Crocker! haha!

Always good to know these tricks Peggy.
Can you believe in all of Runs' thrifting days she hasn't found a vintage crock pot???????
I am sure there are some avocado colored ones out there, or maybe a plaid one.

LOL - cheap date. I don't have a crock pot either! I'm in great company I see. (if I had a crock pot, I'd have to learn more - nope, not me)

I will have to keep track of Peggy's recipes ~ I need more variety.

6 ingredients? I'm more like "3". haha

Well apparently I am an "expert" because I own a crock pot...of course I forget to use it but that is another story....

I love using Campbell's soup in cooking, in fact I have an old recipe book that was created by Campbells featuring recipes that use their soup....

Here is wishing everyone a "delicious" Christmas....
