I Know I'm Having Withdrawals!!
For the artist, crafter, gardener, or anyone who has a hobby they love, being deprived of the ability or time to do it can cause severe withdrawals....This can be a very serious condition leading to irritability, loss of interest in other people and other activities, loss of appetite, loss of the ability to get a good night's sleep, you may even lose your ability to focus on other things that need to be done. Some people have even developed the desire to just sit in a corner and cry. So don't take this lightly. Hobbies and creative interests are our lifeline to sanity. At least that's my personal belief.
My move is completed and my house is almost put together, and although my studio area was the first area completed (I've learned the hard way that this has to come first), there still hasn't been any time to get creative. In another week I'm going to require psychiatric help, I just know it!
These are the things that have been calling out to me, and I think they're actually beginning to talk to me: my paper, canvases, paints, paint brushes, glue, glitter, ribbon, art books, you get the idea.
After deep and thoughtful considertion, I've decided it's in the best interest of my family for me to stop and spend time with my art supplies. After all, everything I do should be in the best interest of my family. Right? I also suggest that if you find yourself suffering any of the above symptoms, that you immediately take time for your hobby. Our families' best interests and welfare should always be of utmost importance to us.
Have a wonderful day. :0)

Hey Pepper, you got that right. Their best welfare is ALWAYS or greatest concern. I say you go into that craft room, close the door behind you and don't come out until those withdrawals have been tamed.
Congrats on the quick settling, now time to get to crafting.
Hey, that box can wait until tomorrow ~ that paintbrush is calling and you best not ignore any longer. :)
at least go smear some paint on your face...and sprinkle a little bit of glitter around. That will help :)
You guys are too funny! Thanks for the encouraging words Duuuude.
Thanks for the laugh jj.
I know that feeling exactly and even though you are cranky, anti-social and in the depths of despair :), it's also comforting to know you WANT to get back and do it and the passion is still there.
Can't wait to see what comes out of that pep head next.
Yup! You are right...do the hobby.
Love the fact that Mom and Dad are safe and happy with you :)
But don't neglect your inner creative child!
