I have always had a fascination with blown glass. When I was much younger and my family would go to Knott’s Berry Farm, I would always go the glass blower shop and HOPE they were working. And no matter what, I would find a way to get some money out of my parents to buy something small, just to add to my collection.
Well, my collection is long gone but I still have a fascination. I had even done some research into trying my hand at it. Though I love it, not sure I’m ready to venture down that avenue . . . YET!!!
For now, I will settle to admire other people’s work. Hope you enjoy these beauties as much as I do.
There are so many cool pieces, styles, colors, and the possibilities are endless. Like I said, I’m not sure I’m ready to venture into this, but I sure would love to try it some day.
Thanks and happy Friday.

ReplyDeleteI remember watching people make the little glass figures at the fairs and events when I was younger. I was always fascinated by it.
Wow, these are beautiful! Amazing work, let me know when you create your first piece....
ReplyDeleteI love looking at it, but I'm always afraid to touch it for fear I'll break it!
ReplyDeleteIt was cool to see the men in Ireland making the Waterford pieces ~ amazing talent.
Did I spell Waterford right?
