Fruity

I have absolutely no clue how I came down this path, but I have taken a turn through an orchard. I saw this wreath and fell in love.

I don't know how I got focused on these fruity delights, but here they are. I was actually going to follow suit with the others and find some really cool storage ideas, like this tin

Then I saw some other cool fruit inspired kitchen things, like this red basket

Just think of the awesome drinks you could serve in these glasses;

Of course you would need an equally amazing pitcher to fill the glasses

A nice towel would be handy to have nearby

but wait...I found another item you can set on your table

or hang on your walls...

You would also need a nice colorful bracelet to add to the fun

and finally.....one would just have to have this hat, it may not be as big as Carmen Miranda's, but I think it is just perfect.

Like I said, somewhere I took a left turn when I should have taken a right, but I am happy with the cool items I found. These days I find it easier to just go with the flow and if it is a little fruity, so be it.

Harvest Fruit, The Freshest Ever

It appears to be a consensus that we at A Collective Journal love Autumn. The colors, cooler temperatures, food, holidays, and you can even change your entire wardrobe, it's all new again.

I had a hard time selecting my theme for this week, but finally settled on the fruit harvest. I love the colors and taste of fresh fruit, and by the time I finished with these photos the only thing I wanted was my mother's famous fruit salad, with fruit juice and all.

Here are the pictures and I don't think they need any additonal input from me. They speak for themselves perfectly.

Apples

Apricots

Blueberries

Cherries

Grapes

Oranges

Lemons

Citrus

Peaches

Pears

Cherries

Strawberries

Persimmons

Pick your favorite fruits and mix them together.  Keep all the juice, add sliced banana just before serving. (You do need some citrus for the juice and tang.)

I hope everyone is so totally hungry for fresh picked fruit right now. LOL

Seriously, Can You Help Me?

All of the previous posts have been informative or instructional, this one is neither.

Several years ago I read an article about these unique little ceramic pieces and their popularity.   Then one day while treasure hunting, I found this one. However, now I can't find the article, which has to be the only one I don't have, and I find very little helpful information.

The original sticker on the bottom says "OriginalArnartCreation", "Japan". It also has the two crossed feathers and the numbers 33/156 (no letters).

The PM&M (Porcelain Marks & More) website discusses the authenticity (or not) of arrows with three or more feathers, however, mine has only two feathers on each arrow. I cannot find a makers mark that matches what I have, or mention of this mark as being fake.

This is a small piece which measures 3 1/2" high X 4" across, is round, and has fruit, leaves, and tiny flowers on the top.

Can someone help me, or lead me to a website that gives more specific information for Arnart?
Thank you!
